Discovering and celebrating writers

I'm a big fan of how technology, despite AI, despite a myriad of things we need to be very vigilant about and cognizant of, the landscape is radically different than it was when you and I were younger. Someone can throw their hat in the ring, and it's not going to cost millions to start a press. So that's the democratic impulse that I celebrate.  But that being said, to do it well is pretty audacious and is a lot of work. But for me to do it and combine doing it hopefully successfully, however you measure that. I certainly don't mean money, but to do it well and to do something that I personally feel invested in.
